Actions
Tylosin is a macrolid antibiotic with bacteriostatic effect mainly against Gram-positive,but only some Gram-negative micro-organisms,such as cocci,Coryne-bacterium,Clostridium,Serpulina,Vibrio,Leptospira,Brucella,Haemophylus,Large viruses,especially powderful to mycoplasma spp. And leptospira beyond those of other chemiotherapeutics and macrolids.
Applied intramuscularly the antibiotic is quickly resorbed reaching maximal concentration in blood one hour after the injection.Excrection is mainly through urine and bile,with milk in lactating animals.
The solution is sensitive to light.
Indication
Cattle,goats,sheep:Complex pneumonia,transport fever,pasteurellosis, due to
P.multocida arthritis,foot rot;metritis caused by Actynomyces
pyogenes;leptospirosis..
Pigs:Bronchopneumonia,enzootic pnuemonia due to Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae;
polyarthritis caused by M.hyosynoviae;leptospirosis,pasteurellosis,erysipelas,
dysentery due to Treponema hyodysenteriae,Vibrio,enterotoxemia
due to C.perfringens..
Poultry:Chronic respiratory disease(CRD and complex CRD);synusitis caused by Mycoplasma spp.
Contra-indications
Do not use to horse,rabbits and new-born animals.
Do not use exceed 5 days for cattle and 3 days for pigs.
Do not mix Tylosin-200 with other preparation.
Avoid use to piglet under 10kg b.w.
Dosage and administration
Deep intramuscular injection(I.M)
Average dose:1ml/20kg b.w.,once daily.
Do not inject more than 10ml for cattle and 5ml for pigs.
Cattle: 3~5ml/100kg b.w
Calves: 2.5ml/100kg b.w
Pig,goats,sheep: 2.5ml/100kg b.w
Dogs: 0.5ml/100kg b.w
Poultry:Dissolve 100ml Tylosin-200 into 50liter of drinking water,for 3-5 days,
Withdrawal time
Meat:21 days for cattle,14 days for pigs,
Milk:6 milkings.
Egg:2 days.
Storage
