Character: Light yellow to orange-yellow clear liquid.
Pharmacological action:
Pharmacodynamics: Tilmicosin can combine with 50s ribosome subunit of bacterium, obstruct transpeptidation and mRNA displacement then refrain protein synthesis of bacterium. Mainly anti-Gram-positive bacteria, also has effect to Gram-negative bacteria and Mycoplasma. The antibacterial activity to Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae , Pasteurella, Mycoplasma is stronger than Tylosin. 95% Pasturella haemolytica are sensitive to the product .Mainly used to control livestock pneumonia(caused by Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae , Pasteurella and Mycoplasma ), poultry mycoplasmosis and lactating animal mastitis.
Pharmacokinetics: Be absorbed quickly by oral administration, has strong tissue penetration and large distribution volume (>2L/kg). The concentration in lung and milk are high, the half life can reach 1-2 days, effective blood concentration can maintain a long time.
Drug interaction:
1. Can increase the dead of swine if be used together with Adrenalin.
2. It is not suitable to used with other Macrolides, Lincosamides and Chlormycetin because of the similar mechanism of action.
3.There will be antagonism if be used with β-lactam.
4. It has coordinate repression to Rhodococcus equi if used together with penicillin or rifampicin.
Indication: Antibiotics. It is used to cure respiratory disease caused by Mycoplasma and other bacteria, and Pasteurella infection. It can relieve dyspnea, cough and swinging nose etc. rapidly.
Usage and dosage: Oral administration in drinking water, for poultry, Oral administration in drinking water, for the product, 1000ml of it mix with 2000Lof drinking water, once a day, during 3 days.

Withdrawal period: 10 days for poultry.
