Introduction of Weichai WD12 Series Marine Diesel Engine:
Born from WD615C, Weichai WD12 (WD618) series high power marine diesel engine boasts a number of strengths, including increased strokes, compact structure, small size, light weight, low speed & high torque, high performance per liter and high torque reservation, low noise, high reliability and durability, as well as easy maintenance. Equipped with double-circulation water-cooling system with the interior circulation using fresh water to cool the engine while the exterior circulation using double-pipe heat exchanger to cool fresh water by seawater, this series products enjoy longer durability. This series are ideally used on river transport ships, fishing boats and public vessels.

4.HIGH QUALITY(WHAT WE DEGIGN)1. CAE simulation We simulate engine and alternator working first, then we can understand how it vibrate, how it spread the energy, then we will design the base-frame and canopy cover to reduce the vibration, and keep it solid/compact.
2. CFD simulation After we have the base-frame and canopy design, the engine thermal radiation, inside canopy ventilation and and noise spread analyzing will be processed. Then base-frame and canopy design will be changed inch by inch to make the ventilation, internal temperature and noise spread performance very good under a very reasonable dimension.
3. NVH analyzing and testing This step will decide which kinds of noise absorb material will be choose, and how it be assembled. Then we test and change again. As you know, we can not actually reduce the noise spread, because we are not engine manufacturer, what we do, is try to reduce the noise level on specific direction and height. Which means, we are trying to let less noise spread to your ear & decibel meter.
