PRODUCTION DETAILS
1. White Fused Alumina/WFA/corundum
White fused alumina electrically fused in arc furnace with high grade processed alumina as raw material.
It has higher hardness and lower toughness comparing with brown fused alumina. It is also characterized
by its high purity, ability of self-sharpening, better cutting, less heat emit, higher efficiency.
2. WFA Application
Application:
Refractory, casting,foundry.
Bonded abrasives and Coated abrasives.
Surface treatment/finishing.
Lapping, polishing, decorative non-skid tile, and pressure blasting.
Ceramic Tiles special ceramics.
Fluidized Bed Furnaces and Skin/Dental Care.
Oil stone/polishing pad, grinding wheels etc.
Anti-friction material, anti-resisting grounds/paper/ paiting.
Used for making polishing paste/solution etc.

White fused alumina appears white particles or powder generally, True density 3.5g/cm3,
Using temperature 1850ºC, Melting point 2050ºC, Linear expansion coeffecient (1600ºC) 7-9.
It is also characterized by its high purity, acid and alkali resistance, good thermal stability.
4. Production Technical Process
Alumina powder as raw material → electric smelting → crushing → Iron removal by magnetic→ screening
→ inspection of physical and chemical → product packing → warehousing
