Xk21 CNC Gantry Type Boring and Milling Machine

APPLICATION
XK21 series adopts fixed columns and one movable crossrail. One high power ram type boring and milling head is mounted on crossrail. 4 feeding axis an d one auxiliary axis(Table- X axis; boring and milling head- Y axis; ram- Z axis; crossrail- W axis; auxiliary axis: attachment head cradle- U axis).
Various attachment heads could be adopted as per demand of machining (right angular milling head, universal milling head, lengthened spindle head and inverted milling head, etc). At single set-up, it can finish internal and external 5 surfaces machining (boring, milling, drilling, reaming, and tapping, etc. 3 axis simultaneous control for contour milling.
The main performance characteristics:

1. Automatic clamping of tool/attachment head by boring and milling head. Attachment head4x90°/2.5°-2.5°auto indexing. Forward/backward tilting for double tool track prevention. Ram adopts hydraulic balance device; crossrail adopts auxiliary beam for load relieving; cros ssrail feeding adopts double motor drive in synch with double inspection. Table bed guideway and crossrail slide guideway adopt closed type hydrostatic guideway with multiple-point pump with constant flow for oil supply.
2. The machine is equipped with fully digital Siemens SINUMERIK 840DSL system. Main drive adopts AC spindle motor. All axes with relevant speed regulator and drive device are driven by AC servomotor drive simultaneously controlled by Heidenhain linear scale and encoder. The machine equipped with ATC(automatic tool changer) becomes a double column boring and milling center.
