Description
Lifting Round Slings are continuous loops made from polyester yarn with many strands and joined to form an endless hank, outside are fully covered with polyester tubular sleeve which is non-load bearing, it can protect the internal strands to be in parallel formation at all the times.
Round slings are all purpose lifting slings, which are both high strong and no-damaging to its load. They are extremely light in weight and flexible in all directions, allowing easy and quick manipulation even when fragile loads are being lifted. Lifting Round sling can be loaded up to 300 Tons, effective length can be up to 80 meters. The Round sling can be customed made with different safety factors like 4:1, 5:1, 6:1, 7:1, 8:1.
Usually round slings are divided into two types: endless round slings and eye to eye round slings. In European market, products are conforming to BS EN1492-2:2000 standard, safety factor 7:1; for American market, products are made according to ASME B30.9-2006; for Austrian market, we make according to AS4497, safety factor 8:1, also we make with China market according to JB/T8521.1-2007, safety factor 6:1. Products are TUV, GS, CE approved.
Characteristics
The round sling is very easy to handle, store and transport. Compared with metal slings, this simple and soft product is only 25% of the weight of metal products. Its soft property will not even cause damage to the paint layer of the hanging parts, and it will definitely not have any harm to the human body. Its excellent shock absorption, non-conductivity, aging resistance and corrosion resistance can be well performed during use. Even in flammable and explosive environments, this flexible sling will not generate sparks, which is its most outstanding feature. According to professional tests, it is very close to the stretchability of steel wire rope. Under the condition of extra load, the elongation ratio can reach 1.6%. During the daily safety inspection, the condition of the flexible sling is very clear. As long as there is no wear and tear, its normal use can be guaranteed.
