Microcomputer-controlled stress-strain triaxial instrument
A method of determining the shear strength of soil, usually with 3 or 4 cylindrical specimens, each applied to different constant ambient pressures (i.e., small principal stress σ3), (i.e., stress difference (σ1-σ3)), shear until failure. Then the shear strength parameters, triaxial creep, triaxial permeability, lateral pressure coefficient, unconfined compressive strength test and strain control loading consolidation test are obtained according to the Mohr-Coulomb theory.The total shear strength parameters and effective shear strength parameters of the soil, such as fine grained soil and sandy soil, were determined. According to different drainage conditions, the tests were divided into unconsolidated undrained shear (UU), consolidated undrained shear (CU or UU), consolidated drained shear (CD), and other three tests (pore water pressure dissipation test) and (a sample under multi-stage loading triaxial compression).
