Character:Soluble in water, soluble in ethanol, vegetable oil,insoluble in mineral oil. Gelatinous at low temperature, after being heated to recover. Very smelly, slightly bitter taste. It is helpful to the dispersion of phthalocyanine green.
Main application:
1.A wetting agent used for suspension. Nonionic surfactant.
2.Usage and dosage: used as emulsifier when preparing oil-in-water emulsion or cream.
3.It can also be used as a solubilizer for oils (e.g. volatile oils). Used as a wetting agent in a sulfur lotion.
