Plastic Hollow Floating Ball is a type of plastic random packing with features of good filtration capacity, stable chemical property, non-pollution, long life span and large overlay area. With stable chemical properties, non-pollution, long service life,great overlay area. Widely used in coagulate water tank, salt eliminating water tank and Water Treatment field. It is type ofplastic Random Packing, with good filtration capacity.
1.Compared to other solid plastic balls, hollow PP balls are much cheaper
2.They have light weight. density is 0.91-0.92g/cm3.
3.PP balls have excellent chemical resistance to commonly used acids, oils, and water-based liquids, and have a higher temperature resistance than HDPE.
4.The most important, they are food grade (same as the soda-lime glass, stainless steel 304 and 316), so they can used for sous vide cooking balls and cosmetic. There are two types of hollow balls: non-polished PP balls and high polished PP balls. Non-polished balls usually used for floating balls, high polished usually used for cosmetic,sealing, cooking etc, please check the picture.We have many clients use the hollow PP balls for rollon such as 10mm 15mm 20mm 22mm 25mm 25.2mm 25.4mm 30mm 35.56mm 38mm etc. 20mm PP balls usually used for cooking balls.
