The orbital weld head MWG series, which are impressive with a wide range of applications, are used where thin-walled stainless steel tubes are welded in tube installation. Due to the compact design and the equipped narrow weld head hosing, it is possible to weld even under narrow conditions.
The MWG 230 open head orbital welding machine with a welding range of 130-230 mm is applicable for tubes with a wall thickness of 2 -10 mm and applicable for V-shaped beveling. It can be used for tube installation in fields of pressure vessels, boilers, petrochemical engineering, etc.
Open Orbital Weld Head
This type of open orbital weld head allows you to make very high-quality welds in minimal space. There is a mechanical tracking system to keep a constant arc height. The torch can tilt to weld at an angle. This type of machine can be used to weld carbon steel and stainless steel tubes. The open head offers very wide welding possibilities thanks to the inclination of the torch and the addition of filler metal. The clamping range is achieved without the addition of jaws. All the parts in contact with the tube are made of stainless steel so as not to contaminate it.
