2205 has excellent corrosion resistance and maintains material integrity and stability in harsh environments. It is used in chemical, petroleum and gas processing, sewage treatment systems, pulp and paper industry and so on.
2507 has good corrosion resistance, magnetic in all conditions to withstand outdoor exposure without rusting. Compared to 2205, 2507 has a higher content of Cr, Mo and Ni, providing more superior strength and corrosion resistance.
Both 2205 and 2507 have high strength and corrosion resistance, but 2507 has a higher content of Cr, Ni, Mo, which makes it more corrosion resistant and suitable for harsh environments; 2205 has a lower cost and is widely used in general industry.
