UHMWPE refers to linear polyethylene with an average molecular weight of more than 1.5 million.Because of its extremely high molecular weight (only 200,000-300,000 for ordinary polyethylene) compared with ordinary polyethylene and other engineering plastics,it has incomparable comprehensive performance.
Our company adopts imported raw materials with molecular weight more that 5 million.
- High wear resistance,4 times higher than nylon 66 and PTFF,6 times higher than carbon steel,is the best synthetic resin at present.
- The impact strength is high, twice as high as that of polycarbonate and 5 times as high as that of ABS,and it can maintain high toughness at liquid nitrogen temperature(-196°C)
- Self-lubrication is good,and its self-lubrication is equivalent to that of PTFE.The friction coefficient is only 0.07-0.11,only1/3-1/4 of the friction coefficient of steel.
- The shock energy absorption value is the highest in all plastics,and the muffling effect is very good.
- It has high chemical stability and can resist the action of various of various corrosive media and organic media in a certain range of temperature and concentration.
