Pilot Drive Self-operated Regulators are typically used for these applications which need large flowrate or precise pressure control is required. Pilot-operated Pressure Relief Regulators are consisted of a main valve and a pilot valve, when the pilot valve detected the upstream pressure rises, it will respond quickly and accurately to open the pilot valve, after the pilot valve opens, the main valve will also open by the upstream pressure. Through the above two paths, the regulator achieves the purpose of pressure relief.
