Material: Titanium
Features- Manufactured from high-grade titanium for superior strength and biocompatibility.
- 135° design specifically for dynamic hip screw (DHS) fixation of proximal femoral fractures.
- Compatible with HA 4.5 mm screws, lag screw, and locking screws 5.0 mm.
- Multiple holes (from 4 to 10 holes) for variable screw placement and secure fixation.
- Polished surface for reduced soft tissue irritation and improved corrosion resistance.
- Pre-contoured to fit the femur, reducing the need for intraoperative adjustments.
Intended Use
The DHS Locking Plate (135°) is intended for fixation of fractures, nonunions, and malunions of the proximal femur. It is used in conjunction with dynamic hip screws for compressive fixation of the femoral head and neck.Indications
- Proximal femoral fractures
- Intertrochanteric fractures
- Subtrochanteric fractures
- Nonunion and malunion of femoral fractures
- Femoral neck and head fractures requiring dynamic compression
Contraindications
- Active infection or inflammation at the surgical site
- Severe osteoporosis or inadequate bone quality
- Known allergies to titanium or implant materials
- Inadequate bone support for screw fixation
- Skeletally immature patients
