GeoMax® Geocell
Geomax® Geocell is a lightweight and flexible three-dimensional, expandable panels made from High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) strips which are ultrasonically bonded together to form an extremely strong configuration.
Geomax Geocell System can be filled with a wide range of material: aggregate, concrete, sand, soil, etc.

Application

Cellular Confinement Systems have been used to improve the performance of both paved and unpaved roads by reinforcing the soil in the subgrade-base interface or within the base course. The effective load distribution of geocell creates a strong, stiff 3D cellular mattress which can reduce vertical differential settlement into soft subgrades, improves shear strength, and enhances load-bearing capacity while reducing the amount of aggregate material required to extend the service life of roads.

HCNS® Geocell slope protection systems may be designed with a variety of infill materials to meet project requirements for aesthetics, stability, environmental impact, material availability, and erosion control. The system also provides protection to impervious liners.

The HCNS® Geocell load support system is a highly effective, economical solution to the road, parking, and yard surface problems that result from subgrade material failure or surface or base material instability. Under concentrated or distributed loads, the 3D cellular structure confines infill material and controls the shearing, lateral and vertical movement of the infill material.

Constructing GEOCELL drainage and diversion channels is a fast-to-deploy and economical means to create stormwater conveyance across tailings on mine sites. GEOCELL-confined aggregate channels can reduce rock size 10X, and make beneficial use of the mine's on-site aggregate resources. With concrete infill, GEOCELL channels offer flexible, hard-armor protection, stability and resistance to higher velocity and continuous flows.
