HENKSEAL®Medium Strength Threadlocker HS-242 is specially designed for 1/4" to 3/4" (6-20mm) bolt fasteners and uses an innovative formula to achieve full-scenario protection. Using military-grade anti-loosening technology, double-effect locking molecules quickly penetrate the thread gap to form an elastic polymer protective film, effectively eliminating the risk of loosening caused by vibration. It has high bonding strength, high temperature resistance and chemical corrosion resistance. Designed for easy disassembly by hand tools, it complies with strict ASTM D 5363 AN0321 (Mil-S-46163A, Type II, Class N) standards to ensure reliability and durability in any application. Suitable for applications in many fields such as automobile manufacturing, precision instruments, and industrial equipment.
- Clean the adhered surface, remove oil and rust, polish appropriately, clean and dry
- Apply the Threadlocker directly from the original package to the surface to be adhered, or you can apply it by brushing or scraping.
- During assembly, the parts should be rotated back and forth to spread the glue, and the parts should be positioned as quickly as possible.
- It can be partially cured in 5min~20min at room temperature. The bonding strength reaches the maximum value after curing for 24 hours.
