Stevioside has six kinds of monomers, and white powder diterpene glycoside (stevioside) has been proposed successively, which is 300 times sweeter than sucrose; Steviol bioside; RebaudiosideA, the highest sweetness is 450 times of sucrose; Rebaudioside B; Glycyrrhizin A and B can be used as sweet additives.

According to GB2760-1996, stevioside can be used in candies, cakes, beverages, solid drinks, fried snacks, candied fruits, preserved fruits, condiments, soft ice cream, and medical accessories. The amount of stevioside used shall be appropriate according to the production needs.
