Chamomile is a well-known garden herbs and its reputation as a plant shows little signs of abatement. The Egyptians reverenced it for its virtues, dedicated it to their gods. Chamomile Extract Apigenin is a polyphenol,and is one of the flavonoids found in many of the foods consumed by humans. Technically, it is a flavone with three OH groups on it.
