The horizontal impregnation production line is mostly used for continuous automatic impregnation and drying of kraft paper, melamine paper, and balanced paper. The equipment is mainly composed of unwinder, impregnation machine, dryer, coating machine, traction machine, cutting machine (rewinder), stacker, etc. The coating machine unit is an optional unit of the impregnation and drying production line, located in the middle of the two-stage dryer, and performs high-precision quantitative glue coating on the upper and lower surfaces of the coil.

The horizontal impregnation and drying production line can be divided into a primary impregnation production line and a secondary impregnation production line. The primary imprinting production line has a relatively simple structure and high production efficiency. The same resin is used for back coating and impregnation, and the amount of glue applied is about 70%. High-pressure melamine decorative panels and base paper are generally produced in this way.
The secondary impregnation production line is based on the primary impregnation production line and adds an impregnation mechanism and a dryer combination. After the paper tape is impregnated and dried once, this secondary impregnation method can save 30%~40% of melamine resin and can maintain the surface quality of the impregnated paper, adjust the softness of the paper, and greatly reduce the impregnation cost. The amount of glue applied is also relatively easy to meet the large glue impregnation production process requirements of low-pressure melamine impregnated paper.
