Phosphating process: (1) pay-off → (2) heat treatment → (3) cooling → (4) acid pickling → (5) washing → (6) hot water → (7) phosphate → (8) hot water → (9) saponification → (10) drying → (11) Take-up

Boronizing process: (1) pay-off → (2) heat treatment → (3) cooling → (4) acid pickling → (5) washing → (6) hot water → (7) boriding→ (8) drying → (9) Take-up
