Description :
SH·Z208 is a low carbon steel core reinforced graphite coated electrode. It can be used for both AC and DC. The electrode requires continuous welding, heat preservation after welding, so that the weld is slowly cooled into gray cast iron to facilitate cutting. If the cooling speed is fast, it will produce white mouth and not easy to process. The weld structure, property and color of gray cast iron are basically similar to that of base metal, but due to poor plasticity, the welding stress cannot be relaxed and the thermal stress cracking resistance is poor.
Use:Used to repair gray cast iron defects. For example: repair of some gray cast iron parts and welding of farm tools machinery.
